Santiago, Chile - A celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week took place on February 6. The speaker was Pastor Juan C. Adasme of the National Council of Evangelical Churches.

The Universal Peace Federation invites all Ambassadors for Peace to help in relief efforts in Chile following the February 27 earthquake that has devastated parts of the country and left hundreds dead. UPF will work with other relief partners in an effort to maximize the benefit to the people of Chile. Your help is needed urgently.

La Federación para la Paz Universal invita a todos los Embajadores para la Paz a ayudar en los esfuerzos de socorro en Chile tras el terremoto del 27 de febrero que ha devastado partes  del país y dejó cientos de muertos.

Lampa, Chile - The Universal Peace Federation in Chile conducted a Global Peace Festival on Saturday, January 24, 2009, in the city of Lampa, about 15 miles north of the capital of Santiago. The event was organized with only three weeks preparation and was small but successful, with enthusiastic participation from the city mayor, Mrs. Carolina Ortuzar, and several other local authorities. In addition, several prominent Chilean UPF Ambassadors for Peace were present in the event. The event was sponsored and organized by the joint efforts of UPF Chile and the Municipality of Lampa.

Santiago, Chile - Chile was blessed abundantly during the visit of Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon and her family who came to bring UPF's message of peace to Chile.
