15/17. May 2009 – UN International Day of Families: A lecture and a round table discussion were organized by UPF in Vienna on May 15th 2009. A second event commemorating the International Day of families was an Interreligious Sunday Service on the 17th of May 2009.
8. April 2009 – Reconciliation and the Role of Global Peace Festivals: Three hundred participants and civil society leaders representing more than 40 NGOs, gathered in one of the largest NGO conferences ever held in the United Nations building in Vienna, in the UNIDO Board Room, to attend the Austrian event of the Global Peace Tour 2009.
3. November 2008 – Mongol Costumes – Fashion Show: Mongol Costumes presented their show three times in Vienna as ambassadors for their culture while the 3rd Convention of World Mongolians was held in Vienna. The focus of this gathering, according to officials, was seeking ways to protect the Mongolian language, culture and customs, improve Mongolia's educational system and boost the industrial and tourism industries in Mongolia.

September 2008 - Interreligious service - International Day of Peace: After words of introduction explaining the history of this special UN Day, the message of Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was read, where he noted that the International Day takes on special meaning this year because 2008 also marks the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. …
5. April 2008 - Intercultural Family Day: Dr. Walter Baar, an advisor to the Austrian parliament on family matters, spoke about "Perspectives on Austrian Family Politics“. …
July 2007 - Building Bridges to Bethlehem: 13 Palestinian youths from the Centre for Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation in Bethlehem had a chance to spend the first two weeks of July in Austria.

December 2006 - True Family Awards Banquet: The Universal Peace Federation in Austria invited their guests for a Christmas Celebration and the True Family Awards Banquet 2006 organized by the Family Federation. Such a banquet was the first of its kind in Austria and also Europe, following a 10-year-long tradition in the United States. …
